The Summer Day by Mary Oliver

The summer day peom is a great poem that expresses small things that are just as important as bigger things that are to the common accomadations for an everyday person. It is as if the writer is sitting down in the grass and is writing down all these questions of what, how, and why things are made. What makes them operate. It's as if she writes about one thing at a time with each little detail. Just as life when a a person should take one thing at a time to live life to the fullest. Cherishing each moment of their life. Whereas, the little things lead to the big things in life.

  1. Great example with that the writer was sitting in the grass. I like the analysis.
